Using Lot History Report

A Select An Option window will display the following options: EXIT, ALL, and a listing all locations defined in the system.

• EXIT – Select EXIT to exit to the Inventory menu.
• ALL – Select ALL to generate the report for all locations defined in the system.
• A listing all locations defined in the system. Select one, several or ALL locations and press Enter to confirm your selection. The system will generate a report that is sorted by customer ID code, within item code, for a location.

 

Select BY ITEM to generate a report for all lots for a specified item with lot balances in non-owned inventory. Enter the item maskA mask is used to conduct a wild card search. Visually a mask is represented by a series of forward slash marks (///), sometimes with a letter, letters, or number(s) preceding it (1/// or AB///). For example, if you enter ////////, this indicates that you want to list all items defined in the system. If you enter in 1//1//1/, this indicates that you want the system to list items that have the digit "1" in those locations. to generate the report for all items. The report will sort by customer ID code, within a location, for a given item.

Select BY CUSTOMER to generate a report for all lots for a specified customer with lot balances in non-owned inventory. A Select An Option window will appear with the following options: EXIT, ALL CUSTOMERS, SELECTED CUSTOMERS.

• EXIT – Select EXIT to return to the first Select An Option window.
• ALL CUSTOMERS – Select ALL CUSTOMERS to generate the report for all customers.
• SELECTED CUSTOMER – Select SELECTED CUSTOMER to generate the report for one customer. Enter the customer ID code for the customer.

Select BY LOT – Select BY LOT to generate a report for a selected lot (or lots) or lot maskA mask is used to conduct a wild card search. Visually a mask is represented by a series of forward slash marks (///), sometimes with a letter, letters, or number preceding it (1/// or AB///). Using a mask allows you to generate a list of like groups. For instance, if you wanted to find a customer whose name began with AB or a group of customers whose name begins with AB, and are within a "mask" field, entering AB along with a (system) designated number of forward slashes, would list all customer defined in the system whose names begin with AB. for a selected location or locations. A Select A Location window will appear with the following options: EXIT, ALL, and a list of all locations defined in the system.

• EXIT – Select EXIT to return to the first Select An Option window.
• ALL – Select ALL locations to select all locations.
• A list of all locations defined in the system.

Select the appropriate location and press Enter to confirm your selection.

Note: If an incorrect lot number is entered, the following message will appear: "Invalid Lot Number!!! Press Space Bar."

 

Select BY ITEM INFO to generate a report by item info lot attributes entered in the "Text 6" field in Item Info.

In the Lot Text field, specify the character string you wish to search for.

Note: An H in the first position of the Lot Text field denotes a hold.
